Sentinel High School Prom, Glitz and Glam: Old Hollywood, will be held on April 18th at the Wilma Theater. We have some important information to share with you regarding the dance and how to purchase tickets. If you have any additional questions or need clarification about the information in this letter, please feel free to contact Victoria Potchak, Katie Moser, or Joe Fischer.

Royalty Voting

• Students: Please use this link, Senior Royalty Voting, to make your nominations for Prom Royalty. You will need to be logged into your school email account to complete the form. 

Tickets 

• Tickets will be sold April 1st - April 3rd and April 13th - April 16th during lunch in room 207 (Ms. Moser’s classroom). Note: There is no school on Friday, April 17th, so Thursday will be the last day to purchase physical tickets.

• The cost per ticket is $25. 

• Prom is for Juniors and Seniors. Freshmen will not be permitted to attend prom. Sophomores may only attend if they are the guest of an upperclassman.

• You may bring a non-Sentinel student as your guest; however, they must currently be enrolled in high school, and they will need to fill out and submit a Sentinel Non-Student Dance Request and Behavior Agreement form before purchasing tickets. These forms can be picked up in the main office. The deadline for these forms is Wednesday, April 15th.
  (Note: One guest per Sentinel student)

• You may also purchase tickets electronically using GoFan. This will be available soon and a link will be emailed out or on QR codes around the school.  (Note: this platform will not allow you to purchase a ticket for a non-Sentinel student until after you have submitted a completed Sentinel Non-Student Dance Request and Behavior Agreement form.) If you purchase your tickets this way, please stop by Ms. Moser’s room to pick up your Grand March name cards.

Grand March

• Grand March is a tradition that is held at the beginning of prom. Family and friends are able to see all of the prom attendees dressed up. Couples, groups, or individuals are introduced.
  It is not required for attendees to participate in Grand March. 

• Attendees may start lining up for Grand March at 7:15 pm. 

• Grand March will begin at 8:00 pm. 

• The dance will begin immediately following Grand March, so we ask that parents and spectators exit as quickly as possible upon the completion of Grand March.
